Treat your child to an unforgettable experience with a special birthday party at American Gymnastics Romeo. Our experienced coaches will show them a great time starting with a fast paced activity to get everyone moving and then move on to other age-based activities that may include games, obstacle courses, or open play time. Or, if you prefer, we will customize the activity to suit your needs. Just let us know.
Included
Exclusive use of the gym and your private party room, at least two party coaches and birthday invitations for your guests. The party room will be set up with tables, chairs, new plastic table covers and includes a full size refrigerator for your refreshments. Party guests will receive a free Open Gym pass valued at $6. The birthday child will receive any solid colored AGC T-shirt (from stock), a free Open Gym pass, as well as a special birthday medallion. Your coaches will assist with party activities including; party room set-up, food serving, gift opening, gift record and assistance with picture taking if desired
Length
Your group will have one hour exclusive gym time and one hour in your private party room for gift opening and refreshments. Extra time may be booked when reserving your party, if available.
party times
Parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays during the school year, and Fridays and Saturdays during July and August. Other days and times may be available. Please remind your guests to arrive a few minutes early because parties will start and end at the scheduled time. A premium party room is available for larger groups for an additional $30. The premium party room accommodates 30-35 children and our standard party room accommodates 20-25 children comfortably. Arrangements for the larger room must be made at the time of booking and is subject to availability.
cost
Prime Time – Member cost is $325* for a party up to 16 children. Additional children are $12 each. Not a member? Not a big deal! Party cost is $355 and includes our lifetime family membership!
Non-Prime – $290* for a party up to 16 children. Additional children are $12 each. Non-Prime times vary but are typically when the gym is closed and other events are not scheduled.
reservations
A $50 nonrefundable deposit reserves your party. You may stop by or call our reception desk at (586) 752-3547 or visit agimichigan.com/romeo to check availability or reserve. If your desired date or time is not shown on our website calendar, please call us for more options. Early booking is suggested. Cash, checks, and all major credit cards are accepted for deposit and final payment at the end of your party. If the party is canceled prior to 72 hours before, we can reapply your deposit to a new date if you choose to reschedule. If the party is canceled with less than 72 hours’ notice, you forfeit the right to the deposit.
additional notes
Your Party Room will be available 30 minutes before the scheduled start time for setup and decorating. Party poppers, confetti, blow horns and glitter are not allowed due to the difficulty of clean up and decorations cannot be pinned to painted walls. Use of our command hooks is preferred or you may ask to use our blue painter’s tape, not tape from home. Refreshments, food, and decorations are the responsibility of the party host. Photos may be taken of the party from a safe distance, but for safety reasons adults are not allowed on the equipment. Alcohol is not permitted on the premises at any time.
Please have your guests arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time so not to miss any of the fun. Parties that run long will be charged $30 per additional quarter hour.
Each child must be signed in on the party roster prior to participating. Children younger than 3 years old and those with special needs may participate with adult assistance.
A word about tipping – While it is never expected or required, if you feel your birthday coaches provided you with an exceptional party, a reasonable tip is always appreciated.
